ZW7-40.5 Series Outdoor High-Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker

The ZW7-40.5 series outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the “circuit breaker”) is a three-phase, 50 Hz, 40.5 kV rated outdoor high-voltage electrical apparatus. It is equipped with either a spring-operated mechanism or an electromagnetic operating mechanism, enabling remote electric control for opening and closing as well as local manual energy storage and manual opening and closing. Its design performance complies with the requirements of the national standard GB 1984-89 “AC High-Voltage Circuit Breakers” and also meets the requirements of the IEC 56 international standard “AC High-Voltage Circuit Breakers.” The product features a porcelain-pole structure: the upper porcelain insulator houses the vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber, while the lower porcelain insulator serves as the support insulator. It is suitable for applications involving frequent operations and offers advantages such as excellent sealing, aging resistance, high-voltage withstand capability, non-combustibility, explosion-proof characteristics, long service life, and convenient installation and maintenance. It is primarily used for the control and protection of 35 kV outdoor transmission and transformation systems, and can also be employed in urban and rural power grids as well as industrial and mining enterprises for normal operation and short-circuit protection.
