WLS-35kV Single-Core and Three-Core Outdoor Cold-Shrink Terminations
Liquid silicone rubber exhibits “elastic memory,” enabling it to contract and tighten tightly while providing waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and anti-aging properties with a smooth, well-defined surface. Its shrinkage performance and stain resistance are significantly superior to those of common degrading materials such as polyethylene. Under conditions that maintain excellent shrinkage and cable protection, the product can be stored for 18 months in an uninstalled state; when used safely, its service life can even reach up to 15 years—far surpassing the brief 5-year lifespan of polyethylene, making it markedly superior in every respect. Its high-toughness, elastic pull cord ensures smooth, effortless retraction; the internal pull cord is wide and highly elastic, guaranteeing uninterrupted, seamless extraction without jamming or breaking inside. During installation, simply slip the pre-expanded component over the treated cable end—no hot work or special tools are required. Gently pull out the cord, and the cold-shrink accessory will automatically retract due to its inherent elasticity, tightly adhering to the cable to complete the installation.
