FJ6/JTS2 Series Junction Box

The FJ6/JTS2 series of multipurpose terminal blocks are specifically designed for wiring in various electrical control and distribution equipment, complete assemblies, and modular terminal cabinets. The product has a rated insulation voltage of 690 V and a rated operating voltage of 380 V; the maximum cross-sectional area of the incoming conductors is 120 mm², while the outgoing conductors can accommodate cross-sections ranging from 2.5 to 120 mm², depending on the number of connected circuits and the specific wiring configuration. This product features a novel and unique design: reliable and secure connections; flexible and convenient operation. It can be used as busbar terminals, high-current terminals, neutral terminals, grounding terminals, and equipotential bonding terminals in a wide range of electrical installations.

Product Features:

The FJ6/JTS2 multipurpose terminal consists of a conductive element, an insulating base, and a protective cover. It features a compact footprint and a reliable structure. The incoming line terminal supports both direct wire connection (simple connection) and connection via OT terminals (wire lugs) for panel mounting; it can also accommodate copper busbars with a width of no more than 30 mm. The outgoing line terminal, however, is uniformly designed for tubular connection. The bottom of the crimping screw is specially shaped as a spherical contact surface, which not only avoids damaging the conductor but also applies sufficient clamping pressure, ensuring more reliable electrical contact.

Installation method:

This product series offers two installation methods: 1) Direct mounting by drilling holes in the base plate (applicable only to units with external dimensions of 78 × 63 × 36 mm, using M5 mounting screws); 2) Mounting on a TH-35 DIN rail (on the top-hat rail). It is recommended to use multi-core cables for wiring connections. When inserting the wire into the blind terminal, ensure it is fully seated before tightening the screw to prevent misconnection. If the wire cross-section is small and the insulation can be pushed into the terminal, the insulation may be allowed to enter the terminal provided that reliable conductor contact is maintained. When the enclosure needs to be opened for operation or maintenance, simply press inward at the latch points on the enclosure to release it; alternatively, a screwdriver can be inserted into the latches and gently rotated to remove the enclosure. During reinstallation, apply downward pressure at all four latch points to ensure each latch is fully engaged in its corresponding hole.
